Mum, when I think of you,
sharing the days that we once knew
Chatting together in that same old way – It
seems like only yesterday. The hopes and dreams that we shared in the past
not believing it wouldn't last and like a forgotten melody, your laughter comes back to me.
Today, through a mite of tears I recall our childhood years, on how hard life was for you, but you soldiered on thro and thro and now it’s time to let you go,
to be with Dad – who loved you so.

What happened to sitting down telling stories to your grandchildren? What happened to attending meeting with your daughter in-law my wife?
What happened to the last discussion we had and the promise you made.
My children are all crying everyday that they couldn’t meet their grandma.
My wife is in tears that all she planned for you, you couldn’t stay for them to come to past.
What do I tell them?
You are one of the most amazing people I have ever known and will probably ever know. You spent your life caring for others and never put yourself before others. You would often go out of your way to reach those who were in need.
A counsellor when the times called for it. I knew I could come to you no matter what the reason or circumstance may be.
I loved you with all my heart and will truly miss you. So finally Mum, you will always be our loving mother. This is only a goodbye to your worldly body. Your love will continue to guide us. We will talk to you every day. We love you our darling mum.
