Victoria (Tori) Leslie Martin was born November 28, 1970, in Camden, NJ at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. In 1974, she moved with her parents to Wilmington, Delaware for her father's relocation to accept a patent attorney position with Hercules, Inc. Tori attended Sanford School's pre-school, Ursuline Academy and graduated from Brandywine High School. She obtained her BA from the University of Virginia and her MBA from the University of Miami. Victoria began her corporate career in 1992 in the elite Management Development Training Program at MBNA America, and was promoted several times before her last position as Regional Director of MBNA's New Jersey office. She then joined AIG as Chief Diversity Officer for property casualty operations, director of employee engagement and director of training and organizational development for the domestic general insurance business. She was later promoted to Senior Director of Diversity for AIG's Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific Regions, with the responsibility for managing global diversity initiatives impacting talent, workplace climate and marketplace. Her task was to develop, collaborate on and implement sustainable strategies to promote diversity and inclusion thus applying global strategies with local perspective and relevance. Victoria was a member of the Links, Inc. and a director of the National Women's Council.
