This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Walter Pietrucha, 77 years old, born on May 10, 1937, and passed away on November 25, 2014. We will remember him forever.
This is the firs birthday that I missed speaking with Wally to wish him good health and happiness. Cannot believe that he is no longer with us. Although we lived far away we always stayed in touch. Farewell our friend.
Walter Joseph, 77, of Manchester, NJ passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in his home after a brief illness.
Walter was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Rutherford, NJ and Seton Hall University. Walter was a long time member of the Polish University Club of New Jersey where he had served on both the Scholarship and Membership Committees. Additionally, he was a member of the Institute of Polish Culture at Seton Hall University. Walter also was a member of the Elks, The Masons and The Shriners.
Walter was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Palkevich of Rochelle Park, N.J. He was predeceased by his daughter Gail Pietrucha and his brother Gordon Palkevich. Walter is survived by his daughter Cheryl Pietrucha of Cliffside Park, NJ and his sister, Dolores Palkevich of Bayonet Point, Fl.. Additionally he is survived by several nieces and nephews.
I will greatly miss my cousin, as we both have shared our pride as alumnae of Seton Hall University. He has shown me light during difficult times. May this candle serve as a tribute to our wonderful memories we cherish as family and our work together at the Polish University.Club.
After a longtime friendship, always there for any occasion both sad and happy the Hoffman family and Sidney will miss our good friend Wally. May his memory be for a blessing.
