The first day I met Wes his kind compassionate heart shown through. I was creating drama in my own head (crying over a boyfriend that hadn’t shown up yet) while sitting in Chris Medley’s front step on Jemez. He threw his arms around me and said, “Don’t cry girl” he attempted to make me smile and he did take my mind off the drama. He was so sweet in his oversized sweatshirt. I am so glad we met. I cherish the memories... the good and the bad. I just wish I could talk to him once more
