When I think of a father figure. My grandpa (papa) is the pillar of strength and the father figure i truly admired...I can simply recall. He taught me so much, the stitching he took time to weave into my character are dignity,strength , perseverance, observation, meekness, purpose..the art of language, class, honesty, morals, tradition, reflection..but most of all love, humor, laughter and never give up when you meet adversity.. always carry yourself well. ...RIP my dear papa.. The reaping of sturdy qualities you have woven into me , can now be found intertwined in the fabric of my children's lives... We are all still connected ...amidst life's variances one thing remained the same and that is you can't break family disposition, and although I didnt recognize the meaning of " by and by" back then... You knew as you would say it as you tipped your hat, and walked off with your grin..that one fine day it will come to pass that the values you instilled we would cherish and understand..
