ForeverMissed

William H Walker V, also known as our good friend Bill, passed away unexpectedly while abroad in service to his country on April 22, 2024. While many people knew him through his exemplary service in the US Air Force, everyone truly knew him as the funny, positive, kind, inclusive, and passionate guy who was always quick to smile and laugh, and who loved his wife Christy and their precious son Harman above all else. Bill was the type of person who didn’t know a stranger, and he is deeply missed by those who have been lucky enough to know him. He leaves a hole that cannot be filled. Though in times like this, and in true Bill fashion, he would probably raise a glass and encourage love, connection, and celebration.

On behalf of Christy and Harman Walker, please join us to honor, remember, and celebrate a cherished husband, father, son, brother, and dear friend.

Memorial - Saturday, May 11th, at 1pm at Cornerstone Church located at 10431 Brayton Dr, Anchorage, AK 99507.

Cornerstone Church will provide childcare on May 11 from 12:30-2:30.

Bill V is sooooo missed! His personality was always so welcoming -- as if you were his best friend. Our kids still remember very fondly the fun times at the beach house with him. our hearts go out to his family and many many friends.
  Lots of love and prayers!
Aunt Steph and Uncle Dave and family.
William (Bill V) H. Walker V will be sorely missed! His ever-ready smile, quick wit and mischievous ways were his trademark! I remember him playing with his nephews in the swimming pool, playing the monster as "Uncle Guck" chased them. GOD BLESS each of you, my prayers and love for the whole family are being sent!

I am thinking of William H. Walker's 90th birthday bash in San Antonio, Bill V rounded up a bunch of the Mexican Wedding Shirts (Guayabera??) and we all wore one in honor of "Grandpa!" Took him a few minutes to notice.

So sorry I can't be there in person, but my heart is there with y'all!

   love and hugs, Aunt Cherri

Bill was one of few people that called me by my full name every greeting and I loved it, I can hear his voice now. His enthusiasm was unmatched no matter the situation, it could be raining sideways and his smile we be bigger than I’ve ever seen it.
From camping excursions, to fishing and celebrations of every kind I truly enjoyed each moment spent with Bill.
Every gathering involved scotch whiskey or fireball, did we secretly enjoy fireball? Or did we enjoy watching our friends suffer drinking it, we’ll never tell.
Know that your family will be taken care of buddy, hope to see you again someday until then
