Our Princess has been called to heaven... Yvette, who was so loved by so many, will be greatly missed...  She was a passionate giver and helped so many in so many ways...  Her infectious smile and sarcastic wit was a perfect combination for great company.

In this horribly sad and difficult time, I would like to invite everyone to share your 'Evie' stories here... I look forward to reading all the wonderfull and funny memorable events that she has shared with you.

Yvette's abrupt leaving has left us with an empty heart. Hard to grasp her passing. Please, leave a short note to express yourself; we are all here to support one another.

Let us honor Yvette's life by sharing and giving of ourself for good.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you find peace and comfort some way. I find it on this site. I also have a brother and sister Earl and Patricia Grubb on this site so I know how it feels to love and loose someone. She seemed like a lovely woman, I wish I would have meet her myself. My prayers are with the family in this very difficult time.

I only met Yvette once 2 years ago when she was kind enough to travel to Texas to accompany relatives of my daughter-in-law to her wedding to my son. I remember her being very kind and helpful to everyone. And I do remember her beautiful smile and her genuine demeanor. I know she will be missed by all of her family and friends. Sincere condolences to all of you. May your cherished memories offer you comfort.

Yvette was my Mary and I was her Rhoda. She was my Yin to my Yang. She was my best friend, sister, travel companion and soul. I will miss her calling me girlie. And miss picking on the middle child jokingly. I'm trying to understand this. But I just can't. I still think this is all a really bad dream and I can't wake up...

Our lives crossed paths for only a short time, despite that fact, Yvette always matched her love and compassion with just the right touch of sharp wit and humor. The backhanded complements always came with a wink and a smile. Couldn't help but love her for that. Thank you Yvette for your friendship, you will never be forgotten.

I never met your beautiful Yvette, but I have three family members on this site. My deepest condolences to you. God breathed out and Yvette was born; God breathed in and took your loved one home. Angels are called to heaven too soon to help God with his greater plans. Eternal blessings upon your family to help you through this tragedy. donna Star

Yvette had a nickname for everyone. Mine was Andy Capp (like the cartoon). She never called me or yelled to me by my name. It was always Andy Capp. She giggled a little every time she used that nickname. I will never forget her laugh, her giggle and her sweet smile. when I think back on all the times we spent together, I remember laughing about anything and everything. "Y"vette had an infectious sense of humor. My face hurt from laughing many times in my life and I blame her for lots of them. I love you forever my friend.

Yvette, what can I say? Except that she was a person that NEVER talked bad about ANYONE! I loved her giggle and can still hear it while she played with her hair. I loved her smile, it was contagious! I can hear her singing the song

I grew up loving Yvette. She was my sister from "another mother”. She has been a part of my life for as far back as I can remember and to look forward and to try to image life without her is, absolutely, unimaginable.

Her warm hugs that greeted you, her kiss hello that said “So happy to be here”, her voice that sung with joy at karaoke time, are what I never want to forget. I Never Want to Forget!

I never presume to know what God’s plan is but my heart is aching and I try to find comfort in knowing that I have an angel with a smile that shall forever shine in my heart.

You were such a beautiful, thoughtful, caring and fun person. I have so many great memories in my heart with you. You will truly be missed. We have all been blessed to have had you in our lives.

Forever our Angel. Love Broken hearted and missing you forever.
