"Happy 94th Birthday Grampie!! Not a day goes by that I don't think about or have something remind me of you. I know you are watching over us & wish Landon could see you again as he speaks of you often. It would be so wonderful if you were able to meet our other lil man Gavyn, but he will always know of you.
Loved you then, Love you now, Love you always!!!"

"Jan 25, 2016

Three yrs ago today you left us...don't ever think for a moment that you are not truly missed nor forgotten.  I talk to you everyday or about u on a regular basis & know you have helped me out alot these past yrs. Landon also always talks about you to us & to lil Gavyn...He wants to send a balloon up in the sky soon from him & his brother...
He said "It will go all the way up to the Angels & right in Grampie Ward's hand". I know you will receive it...
Love you now as much as ever....xx
We miss you Grampie always <3"

"God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So he put his arms around you
And whispered "come with me"

i love you grampy <3"

"Death is nothing at all. I have only slipped away into the next room. I am I, and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference in your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we have always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of"
