Aaron Daniel Beaton

Aaron was born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada, and one of five children to Burke and Kate Beaton of Little Judique, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Brother to David (Allanna), Williamsville, N.Y., Geraldine (Roy Mac Eachern), Vancouver, B.C., Darren, Amherst, N.Y., and Howard, Little Judique, N.S. He was son-in-law to Bernice (Strathlorne, N.S.) and Donald Mac Neil (Pickle Lake, ON). He was a jolly uncle to Tristan Mac Eachern and to Victoria and Elizabeth Beaton. Aaron is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who he appreciated and loved a great deal. He was proud owner of Erie Coffee Company, LLC, which operates a Tim Horton's franchise located at 2745 West 26th St., Erie, PA. Aaron was very confident and humbled by his team of employees who have helped him grow his business in Erie. He built strong relationships with his customers and in the community. He was especially proud of the Tim Horton's Timbit Hockey program, which he was instrumental in developing in Erie for children aged four through nine. He was previously employed at Frito-Lay, New Minas, Nova Scotia and Molson Breweries, St. John's, Newfoundland. He gained experience in the Tim Horton's business working in Tonawanda and North Tonawanda, N.Y., until he fulfilled his dream of owning and operating his own business. Aaron was raised in Little Judique, Cape Breton Island. He graduated from Judique-Creignish Consolidated School (1992) and received his Bachelor of Science Degree and Certificate in Applied Science from Acadia University, Wolfville, Nova Scotia (1995). He continued his studies at DalTech, Halifax, N.S., and received his Bachelor of Engineering (1998). He was a member of the Professional Engineers Association of Nova Scotia. His family are members of St. Luke Catholic Church in Erie. Aaron was a dedicated and hard-working husband and father who loved spending time with his wife and children. He enjoyed and participated in sports, including basketball, hockey, baseball, and was a great putter in golf! He was famous for his positive, jolly, and optimistic attitude towards everything in life. He always made people smile and laugh. He will be missed by all of his family and friends especially his wife Shannon (Mac Neil), and children  Marley and Alexa.
