I can never ever forget this day, coming out of a Toastmasters meeting and hearing the most devastating news......unbelievable. But as Believers, we take solace in the fact that she's resting in the bosom of our Lord.
I wish you could see how beautifully well the children have grown.
Abiola, everyday I pass by the flat, it's a reminder that life indeed is transient.
May your beautiful soul continue to rest in peace. Amen.

My dearest big Sis, to say I miss you is an understatement. It is still sometimes so unreal that you are gone. I miss your laughter, your voice, your humour, your love, your wise counsel. I miss not having you to talk to. You were so easy to talk to and so real. So hardworking and brave. So kind and giving.
We thank God for Evita, Nonso and Chifum. You did a great job with them.
We thank God for you always. Continue to rest in peace dear sis. You are forever in my heart.

Missing you this year as every year on your birthday. But, always smile when I remember my Dad’s 'get up' to attend your graduation like he was your father, and the very proud words he had for your accomplishments at the University of Lagos Convocation - I summarize that "Abiola came, Abiola saw, Abiola conquered!" You have indeed won a crown in glory and live on through your amazing offspring. We celebrate your life with the wonderful memories we made together, looking forward to meeting again.

Abiola my dearest , I cannot believe it is already 4 years. To say I miss you is an understatement. Our relationship was so close and unique in many ways, my oga, big sis, Bestie, adviser, confidant, legal backbone and more. I thank God for everything. Every moment spent in your company was special. I sometimes still laugh out loud at the jokes and fun times we shared. There was no dull moment- NONE. Thank God for his grace that sustains and keeps us going. We know only in part but I remain confident that there will be another fellowship in heaven. Continue to rest in Peace .

My Darling Sis Biola, a day has not passed by since your home call that I have not thought of you. I keep remembering your early morning calls. There was nothing under the sun that we did not talk about. Whenever , we were together, it was a time of laughter. I really miss you. While you have gone so many things have happen. On a lighter note, your godson Adeyinka and his lovely wife Carlene celebrated their 40th birthday in January this year. There was no major celebration because of the Lockdown due to Covid-19. This is the Pandemic that has covered the whole wide World. Thousands of people around the World have lost their lives. On the other hand, we are grateful to God for preserving our lives in our family.

Continue to rest peacefully with your Maker. You worked so hard while you were here with us and it is time to sit back and enjoy your stay in Heaven.

My Dearest one and only Sis, the time has gone by so so quickly, woa 4 years already!
I have come to accept that you are no more here but the comfort is knowing you are in heaven, signing Praises unto our Lord Jesus Christ with Dad, Mum, Pastor I and other belated family members.
The selfish side of me misses the several daily calls, the visits, the advise, the concern and the laughter
REST IN PEACE, BI-O-LA

So hard to believe that four years actually passed and that you are with the angels in heaven praising the Lord as you did while on this side of the universe. But we take solace in that you fought the good first and did a fantastic job here too. We miss you but we can not question our God as he is always right and good.
Sleep on beloved!!

Kenya trip Feb 2017

April 19, 2017

I travelled to Kenya for the CanadaEduFair 2017 early Feb 2017. I wasnt sure who I'd meet there, but was sure glad to see Abiola there. There wasnt any known face I could chat with but Abiola. I was sure glad about that. I had known her long before now but on the greetings level only at educational fairs in Nigeria. Many times when we meet in Nigeria, we'd spend few minutes chatting and trying to catchup. The time was never enough. This time in Kenya, we spent more time talking, I got to know her better. She had such a sweet and tender spirit about her. Really rare. We went shopping together for her children and mine. It was really nice getting to know her more. I recommended to her the tour guide to take her around Kenya. She told me she had a blast. We kept in touch after that and decided we needed to resolve some issues with our profession. We met every Thursday, along with 2 other dear friends, over skype until April 6th 2017. I got the shocking news on Monday April 10th......Unfortunately I dont have pictures to share, but sister Abiola is very dear to me and very many others....Goodbye sister......
