You were my first teacher, first love, best friend, critic, gist partner, prayer warrior and confidant.
To many you were just a woman but to all of us your children, you were our world.
You did not build mansions yet you built US.
You had no millions left in your bank accounts yet you have left sweet memories, great and enduring legacies money cannot buy.
Who can deny you were a virtuous, dutiful, humble, forgiving, patient wife and mother?
Many can testify of your patience longsuffering and enduring spirit.
You only saw the good in all.
You were a friend to the young and old.
You were selfless and a blessing to many.
Life threw a lot of challenges at you and you won all in your patience.
Thank you for those battles you fought for our sakes.
Thank you for your sacrifices, prayers and godly teachings.
Thank you for raising us well.
Thank you for your generosity and friendship.
Thank you for all you were to me, my siblings, our dad, our spouses and your lovely grandchildren.
Thank you for loving and believing in our dad till death snatched you away from him.
God knows you needed eternal rest from all the struggles of life.
You have fought a good fight and you have won all.
Your memories bring smiles to my grieving soul.
Rest on my dearest mum until we meet on the resurrection morning.
