Jidé - I cannot believe it's been seven years since your untimely passing. It feels like it was only the other evening that I received the shocking and devastating news of your final exit. I wonder what you would have made of this global coronavirus pandemic that's changed our way of life, probably forever. You are still sorely missed. May your lovely soul continue to rest peacefully in the bosom of the Almighty, our Creator.

Dear Ade,
it is unbelievable that 6 years have passed. You remain in our hearts as always. Our common research into myeloma continues although slower than I prefer.... I still have to find lab members to join this effort with the same passion and motivation and who don't mind the long hours. I am hopeful.
Rest in peace. You remain with us forever.
Sabine.

Jide - you are loved and remembered by so many. This year we're celebrating the 40th anniversary of our departures from QC and KC - hope you're celebrating up there with the others, amongst those heavenly angels, although I'd much rather you were here to celebrate with us. You were taken way too soon. May your beautiful soul continue to rest in perfect peace.

Dear Ade,
I remember very well when Sabine called me from Winnipeg 5 years ago. We both were devastated; but there is now new hope and light! We all, scientists, nurses and doctors fight to overcome an insidious foe.
God bless you and enjoy your life over there together with my brother; he also had a such a wonderful heart like you!

Doctor Ade, we will NEVER forget you, you were a 'very special' Doctor and my colleagues in the Leukaemia Fund loved working with you in every way. You were an inspiration to each one of us and, I know, the Nurses were in awe of the way you always made your patients feel so much at home. EVERYBODY loved you and your passing has been felt by so many people. Rest in peace, you earned it well enough. God bless your lovely family, they are very proud of you in so many ways.
