Dearest Folake, there is not a day that I don't think of you. I miss your caring calls , your gentle and joyful spirit. The simple and milestones of life shared between sisters. When I see Simi your precious granddaughter she so reminds me of you. You are forever in my heart and one day we will meet again in heaven.

Dearest Sis, today, which would have been your birthday, I am celebrating all the precious memories I have of you.You are forever in our hearts. The unconditional love you always gave, the inner beauty that radiated from you will never be forgotten. You are our angel. I know that one day we will meet in our heavenly Father's home.

All I remember is your smile. It was weird for me cos I wanted to hug you. At that point I had just lost my own mom and I must admit it made me jealous seeing how much you love Molade. Maybe you knew cos you will turn and smile at me...
I honestly don't know what to say. I have held off on this long. I can imagine how much Molade misses you. You were so amazing you rubbed off on your kids. I'm glad I met you. I won't forget your smile ever.

It's been three months of missing you mommy.

I'm deeply saddened to learn of Sister Folake's passing, but accept that the LORD knows best. Before and when she joined us at school, she was a beloved sister to me, as she was to Deji and Kunle. May her legacy endure in her children that God has blessed her with.

Sister, Adefolake Ogungbade (nee Rosanwo), a loving and caring person you were. You always wore a warm and welcoming smile, signs of your inner strength in the Lord. Usually, you were one of the first to send warm birthday greetings, Christmas card, or loving messages. When we were much younger you made time to share of yourself, and made some of the most delightful meals for the family like your scrumptious cupcakes and jollof rice, to mention a few. I mentioned meals because true personal meal preparation is an expression of care, love and giving quality of a person in most cultures like ours. You were a precious person who loved the Lord as shown by your participation and commitment to the choir at Yaba Baptist Church which prepared you for one of the key roles in Heaven. How glorious it is that you are now serenading the Lord with holy songs, praising and worshiping Him. While you will be missed, it is a comfort to note that you prepared well to know the Lord and to worship Him eternally. It is well, and God is Good. Rest well in His bosom sister. Amen.

Sis Folake always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes. I can just see her now looking down on us smiling and twinkling away. May her soul rest in perfect peace among the saints.

I will miss that beautiful smile. Never complains, always smiling even when situations were tough. Remember my visit to her house in Nigeria when the kids were very young and how she made them her top priorities making sure they were okay and did their homework. She loved them so much and never let them out of her sight. She made me feel at home and her smile put me at ease. I watched her relationship with her kids and hoped that one day I will have that great relationship. What a cousin. Sleep on cousin in the bosom of our Lord. No more pain. Peace at last.
