Sister Nike! You were always a pleasure to bump into in church, I loved seeing you, you truly cared. I remembered the last time you visited my house, my baby had fallen ill and I was almost loosing it as a young and first time mum but you were there to encourage and pray with us. You kept checking on the baby to be sure we were fine. That memory will remain ever green. We love you but the Lord loves you more, rest on in the Bossom of our Lord Jesus Christ till we meet again...

Nike my beloved sister, you were a symbol of Christian in all ramifications. Humble, respectful and cheerful. You left us in Sabo with a vacuum. Though could not see you in person in your last days due to distance but you occupied my mind and prayers. I am positive you are resting in the bosom of our lord. You've fought the good fight and also run the race, take your rightful place in the kingdom of God where there is no pain and no worries. Bless your soul my sister till we meet to part no more at the Master's feet. Adieu Nike

Rev. 14:13
Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.”
“Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.”

Sis Nike is blessed of the Lord having died in the Lord, she rests from her labour. We give God the glory for her life.

I was privileged to be a witness at her wedding to our beloved Brother Amaize eight years ago. When one looked at them both during this period one comes to the conclusion that God made no mistake, if it were possible for Him to do so, in bringing them together.
God, because of His love for Sis Nike, needed a man to love and nurture her these final eight years. In His wisdom He chose Amaize to do this for Him. Thank God, Amaize did not fail God. My brother, be assured God also will never fail you.

Both of them have fellowshipped closely with our family co-leading our house fellowship with beloved Pastors David & Olawale Adegboyega in the past four years. Sis Nike was a sweet gentle soul to fellowship with, was much loved by young and old in the fellowship and would be greatly missed by all.

May the Lord comfort Amaize, the Ojeikere and Adesuyi families, and the body of Christ to whom she belonged.

I opened my email and what did I see?? A memorial for Aunty Nike??!!! This is sad! I remember the good times...travelling together, shelter and food at your place after a long trip, you took me in like family...You are far too kind ma, and now you rest. What can I say? We are all passing through this world, it is not our home. It is painful, but thank God for the beautiful life you lived. May God strengthen Mr Amaize and family to bear this great loss. Till we meet at Jesus feet...

Adenike Adesuyi Ojeikere. Aunty Nike as I fondly call you. My pretty, amiable, brainy , selfless, generous and God fearing sister .Can't still believe you are gone. Can't fathom the void you have left amongst us. you impacted my life in so many ways -my role model, my friend, my confidant, my gist partner, my mother, my prayer partner and much more. You taught me to be a virteous wife and always encouraged me to imbibe Godly attributes in my children . You are an inspiration to us your siblings as you ensured that our sisterly and brotherly ties remained strong .

Coming to Lagos will never be the same for me and most especially for the kids. Can still remember your special delicacies which are second to none particularly your vegetable and okra soup. My sister the great cook. Reminenscing at the special moment we had together in April. I will forever cherish the quality time with you my "Metaphor woman" .

Death is inevitable and we are all "tenants" in this world. You fought a good fight and finished strong. I take solace in the fact that you knew the Lord and held on to him till the very end. Rest on in eternal peace my sweet sister until we meet at his feet

May the soul of Adenike find eternal rest. Though, I never met you, but Amaize was a school mate back in our childhood days and given his cool mien, composure, and compassion for others, I can imagine that Adenike must complement these worthwhile lifelong attributes. Your passage must be a pain to the family, but that is a sure end for us all. You have merely gone ahead of us. Please find eternal peace. May the good Lord comfort Amaize and the family that you've left behind. Rest in Peace.
