t's your birthday today Baba Nla...3rd of May 2021

Your memories remain Evergreen in my heart and thoughts...

Happy first Post Humous Birthday...

Enjoy with the Angel's and Saints in heaven cos you were a man with a Heart of Gold...Kind Hearted...Soft Spoken and the Best father any child could wish for...

Miss our frequent calls and chats...

Since the news of your demise...I pick my phone to call but only to remember that i can't do that anymore...

I miss our regular gists and our small fights...

It's so Hard to say goodbye my sweet father but I also hate to sound like a selfish child cos you needed to rest with all you were going through...

Don't worry I will keep all the promises I made to you...

My sis and I miss you...

Your grandchildren miss you...

Your little peanut has been requesting to speak with her grandpa...

Omo Nla can't seem to get used to the fact that you are No More...

Adieu my father...

Adieu my uncle...

Adieu my best buddy...

Till we meet to part no more..

To die is not to live in the hearts of those who love you...

To everyone you were my uncle...but to you and i...we were best friends and pals...

Regardless of the distance...we were inseparable...we shared deep family secrets and tots...you told me so many things with dates and years which I now regret not taking notes of them...You were my best buddy and gist partner...

I never knew the last call I made to you would be the last forever, little wonder you wanted me to stay on the line a little longer...only to hear of your demise the next day after I just mentioned the need to do a video call with you that same day...

You will always live in my heart Baba Nla as I fondly call you everytime you call me Omo Nla...

Your death has left a vacuum in our hearts...you took the role of a father before and after the demise of our father...your late brother...

You loved and cared for my sisters and i like we were your biological children and transferred same love to our kids...

I remember your late son Bro Shola always ask me what I do to get away with things no one could dare do to you but later, I got to realize that you had a soft spot for me...

You were always attentive and sensitive to my feelings even from a distance...regardless of being your daughter, you were always quick to apologize...a part of you I admire so much. You were so openminded...hated to see anyone around you mistreated or cheated...You loved Dignity and Fairness...You were Gentilly and Humility personified...

I miss your embrace...I miss your words of encouragement...I miss your reassuring arms...I miss the way you always reaffirm your love for me at the end of every call...

I have been hoping to see you again some day and like I always tease you that I would get a whole truck of boiled guinea fowl eggs for you(one of your favourite)...

May God grant you Eternal rest and let His perpetual light shine upon you...Rest in Peace Baba Nla...

May He also grant us the Fortitude to bear the Irreparable Loss...Amen

Adieu my Loving and Caring father...
Adieu my Best Buddie...
Till we meet to part No more...

Love You Forever
