Deacon Abayomi Adisa Adeyemi was born in Lagos state n the 19th day of January 1947. His father Alhaji Liadi Eletu Ijebu was from Ojo LGA, Badagry, Lagos state. His Mother Alhaja Tayibat eletu Adeyemi was from the Eletu family, Lagos state.

Deacon Abayomi had his early education in Baptist Primary school, Lagos state. His secondary education was at Ijebu ode grammar school,ijebu ode, Ogun state. He had his first degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos state.

Deacon Abayomi worked at NITECO Apapa, Lagos state and after few years, was transferred to the Head office in Port Harcourt, where He had his second degree in Marine ENGINEERING from the Rivers State University of Science and Tecnology and worked at NIGERIAN SHIPBUILDERS till he retired.

Deacon Adeyemi’s life was a peaceful, easy-going, and a quiet one. His home was a castle filled with love and accommodating to everyone. He had very few friends s. He was a very frank person, many times to a fault and could not stand dishonesty. He was the epitome of contentment.

His philosophy of life was Proverbs 10:22(The blessings of the Lord maketh rich and added no sorrow with it). This he imbibed in the lives of his family and everyone that came in contact with him.

Deacon Adeyemi was very much in love with his wife Mrs Adunni Abimbola Adeyemi (nee Adeshina), and both lived as best friends and companion for 44 years as husband and wife. The couple was blessed with children and grandchildren. Deacon Adeyemi was a loving and caring Father and grandfather to everyone.  

Finally, he gave up the ghost on February 19th, 2021 at 10:48 pm at the age of 74. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.

Eternal rest grant him o Lord, may light perpetually shine on him.
