Still you shine
Your smilies and “ very revealing thoughts “ all visible on your face as you speak those catchy phrases are still fresh
I remember the last chance meeting around sabo yaba in lagos a couple of days or weeks ( before the unfortunate flight) with you every meeting remains fresh in one’s memory
Glad I met you
Rest on Dobi
I still remember our fun loving Adaobi, full of positive energy and youthfulness.
Rest on my darling sister
Goodnight My Madam!
Dobis my Dobis
I met you on a beautiful morning in Pankshin, Plateau State, where we were posted to carry out our Primary assignment (NYSC). We took to each other as soon as we met and became inseparable, that friendship continued until the Almighty God decided to take you to a better place.
Adobi, you were very intelligent, highly talented and forward going. You never encouraged laziness and did your best to make everyone who came your way relevant. You related with both the high and the low, making sure that everyone was given their rightful place in the scheme of things. You were a source of encouragement and handled issues logically and without bias. You never pretended about your feelings for people or issues.
I learnt alot from you, from using the right glass for different types of drinks to wearing the right clothes for occassions. We shared alot of secrets and couldtalked about anything. You treated me like your blood sister and wanted me present at all your family functions. You always said good morning every morning and ended the day with a few chats on BB. Adobi, I have been waiting for your calls and chats since June 3rd but it looks like I will never get them any more.
Dobis, I miss you. I miss you very much. You kept me always on my toes, checking on me now and again. You made sure I never had a dull moment. We had plans, aspirations and expectations but in all these, God is still God. He has His reason for allowing this to happen and in obedience we give Him all the glory.
Adobi, rest in peace until we meet on the resurrection day.
ALL GLORY MUST BE TO THE LORD, FOR HE IS WORTHY OF OUR PRAISE, NO MAN ON EARTH SHOULD GLORY TO HIMSELF, ALL GLORY MUST BE TO THE LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
