Auntie,
When I got the call about you, I instantly felt weak. I was so confused. A part of me was ripped straight from my soul. How could my strong, fearless, untouchable aunt be taken from us this way? While I’ll probably never understand why, I’ll remind myself that you are in a better place with my grandma and grandpa now. That they are now with their baby girl. You have been such an inspiration to me in so many ways. You taught me to never give up, to prove myself wrong, to prove others wrong, and to understand that sometimes it’s okay to reach out for support. Always work harder than the person next to you, and get after it. Your legacy will always be alive and the history you left behind will always be remembered. You impacted so many lives and I hope you’re reading all of the stories and tributes about how you positively affected those around you always. My beautiful auntie your smile, your energy, your one of a kind voice is one of the many things I’ll hold close to my heart always. I feel blessed to have the same Aranda blood running through my veins and I can only hope that I continue to make you proud up above. I love you today, yesterday, forever and always.
Your Niece, Nat
