"Mamendo" as she was fondly called was born on the 13th November, 1943 to the families of Olojo Kosoko and Beyioku Onikoyi of Lagos Island.

She attended Ahmadiya Girls High School also in Lagos Island. She proceeded to England where she obtained a diploma in Computer Science. 

On her return, Aina met and married her sweetheart of well over 40years, Late Sir (Engr) Ebenezer Adebayo Soetan.

She worked at Pay and Records Office, Apapa until she moved to Northern Nigeria to be with her husband who was an Aeronautical Engineer at the Nigeria College of Aviation Technology,  Zaria, Kaduna State. In Zaria, she worked at the Accounts Department of the Institute of Health, Ahmadu Bello University. 

After several years in the public service, she resigned to run her own business and became the CEO of Valkad International,  a consortium that combined fashion and hospitality businesses. 

Aina will be remembered for her impeccable style and fashion sense. She was a trend setter and a fashion icon. 

Though stern and blunt, she had a large heart, she was compassionate and selfless. She loved her extended family and was the one who brought everyone together. 

She is survived by children, grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws. 

She will be also greatly missed by many others whom she nurtured through the years.
