Hi, Mom. It's three days after your 96th birthday. I'm thinking about you a lot, and hope you are enjoying the time you get to spend with Carol, Jim, and now my precious hubby, Les, who I miss more and more every day. I know he is pain free now and you are singing together and walking the streets of gold with Jesus. I can't wait til Jesus comes to take us to heaven so we can all be together again. So it's another mothers day, and the pain of not celebrating it with you is almost overwhelming. However we can celebrate it in remembrance of the most incredible Woman, Person, Child of God and Mom who ever graced this great orb we call Earth and home. We miss you Mom. Yesterday Mom would have been 91 years old. As She walks the streets of gold, and talks to Jesus and all those who went on before her, I know She will be thinking of us who She left behind, and She will be asking Jesus to give us the strength to carry on until we can once again be with Her in Glory.

You were there when I needed you,you opened your heart and home to me you made me feel like I was family.I gave you a Granddaughter named Dustie,you loved her from afar now you can watch over her and keep her safe.There is and always will be a big place in my heart for you. I love you Alice.

Grandma, When I close my eyes and think of what a grandma should be to a child, memories of you come flooding back. You were the sweet grandma that every child should have one of. I have so many memories of going to your house to spend the night, making cookies together, & watching you cook. As an adult, you loved my children and were only a phone call away. I'll love & miss you forever.

I married Les in 1980, and Alice became my "other" mom. She welcomed me with open arms and a loving heart. She treated me not as just a daughter in law, but more like a daughter. She was a warm, loving woman. What an encouraging person she was. I will miss her greatly. I love you, Mom.

What a wonderful Mom. Even in pain she had a smile. Now she's having the biggest party she has ever had, dancing and hugging Carol and all her brothers and sisters, as God says, "Come and dine, My special child, come and dine." Never forget you, Mom...Glenn
