Barb, I met you in 1986 and can clearly remember the first time I met your mother. I felt the warmth from her and could see the SPECIAL bond you guys had. With every meeting I grew to appreciate her welcoming nature more. One of my favorite memories is when we went to bingo......what a laugh
I am sure there will be lots of wonderful stories to unfold for you. I remember your Mom sharing lots of laughs with Margaret and Jim over a game of cards. I also remember one time as a child, my knees were hurting and my Mom took me to the doctor who diagnosed me as having growing pains and and gave me pills. Of course not having a reputation for being a highly motivated student, Mom thought that I was looking for a way to skip of school. I got to hang out with your Mom that day and she was very nurturing and believed that my pain was real. I remember your mother fondly as a women who had great community spirit and loved her family dearly. I lost my Mom nine years ago and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her. Shared memories brings great comfort. Hugs to you my dear friend.
