I enjoyed growing up next to the Hertz family. I have very fond memories of when Bonnie would come over to babysit me and my brother and sister. I had also made contact with Altonah and we had a long talk over the phone. Peace be with you.

I remember Altonah as my quiet sister; she worked at being the good one. I always admired her ability to not visibly react but manage to effectively deal with things as they came at us.
I saw patience in her that didn’t exist in me. Once when she was 15 or so, she brought over some material and a pattern of some shorts with little hems and quite a bit of detail. Cute. A hour later she came back wearing them. Wow!
I was always a little envious of the lack of frustration she seemed to have. I think she was born more evolved.
I loved you Bonnie. I’m sorry I didn’t know you as well as Altonah.
I think of you quite a bit as this loss is as a tear in the right of things.

your sister, Jan

I miss you Bonnie/Altonah! We would always have a long talk sometime around this time, your birthday. So this year it will have to be heart-to-heart in a new way. You are always in my heart and I love you always.
Your sister, Bobbi

Altonah you have given me some of the most important and helpful advice. That advice was to find the Love and breathe the Love into the spot where I was feeling, anger, pain, stress, hatred, etc.. I will always be grateful for the short time we shared together. Much Love!!!

I have fond memories of my sister-in-law Altonah. She generously and warmly shared her home with her Minnesota in-laws. There were long talks and fun meals prepared together. And what grace under fire she had while hosting and entire Lampe clan with the stomach flu! It might not have been funny at the time, but we did have lots of laughs in hindsight. With love,
