Carolyn, When Ute cares for her backyard garden, as day goes along, she often hangs her jacket or shirt on the horseshoe clothes rack Alvin made and gave us in Boyd. And I got something great and unique too, like Alvin himself, a big real ANVIL, that rests atop my 5 ft high steel filing cabinet in my home office, where it holds everything steady even during a couple of our San Francisco Bay Area earthquake tremors, again kinda like Alvin, my solid friend forever. I hope this ole timer is getting through to you, Alvin and all -
I continue to tell Alvin stories - just yesterday I told a pal about the time Alvin came to our wee rock house in Boyd and my Dad put boxing gloves on us.
Alvin remembered that and told me about it when I returned and found him in Boyd 60 years later. And we then met You. Thanks be to God for that too. Hi also from your fellow artist friend, my wife Ute. Pat G.

Happy Birthday Dad, We miss celebrations with you. But what a glorious birthday in heaven with your youngest son Brian and family members in heaven amongst the angels. Can’t wait to be with you both and our Heavenly Father with love and laughter.

It's so difficult to believe five years have passed today since we lost you. Life has been a struggle without you. I remember when my family moved to Boyd you said the first time you saw me at the skating rink in a red skating skirt you made up your mind you would marry me! The past week I have thought if Alvin was here he would get help for me, but I would not want to bring you back to suffer the horrible cancer that took you from us. One day soon the Lord will take me to join you, my Mom and Dad and so many others. That will be the most wonderful blessing!

Alvin became my great friend when we were in Mz Rickman's First Grade Class in Boyd 1942/43. Due to war we lost contact until I visited and found Alvin again - 60 yrs later. Thanks be to God. Our friendship was glorious. Pat

He was a good friend of my,we shared alot of good times and memories together, but more than all he was a father-in-law that is truly missed.  .

Uncle Alvin's memory will always be in our hearts. The world lost a great person, but heaven added a wonderful angel!

"When All of God's Singers Get Home" was Alvin's favorite song. It was also the favorite song of his Aunt Nova, my Mom, Nova Bassham Beauchamp.  We don't know when ALL of God's singers will get home, but we do know that two are already there.

My husband, my forever friend. Life with you was never boring! 57 years you were there loving me and taking care of me. I'll love you and miss you forever.

I only knew him for a short time but that was enough to know he was a great man , will be missed but memory;s will last forever .He is the greatest clown in heaven.. Sue Moore

Alvin, will always be missed. He was a wonderful Christian man with a great sense of fun. He was the husband to a wonderful Christian woman and they made the perfect couple. He will always be remembered for the love he had for her and other people!

We will treasure the loving fun memories forever. And know that we have an angel watching over us.
