Bishop Amos Glass, age 84, Bishop Amos Glass passed into peace on March 15, 202 at Wallingford Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Henry and Annie Davis Glass. He was born and raised in the Chester area and graduated from Chester High School in the class of 1946. He also served in the US Army. Bishop Glass was the founder and overseer of the Jesus Christ Ministries in Chester. In addition to ministerial duties Bishop Glass enjoyed special hobbies that included poetry, music and artistry. He was predeceased by a daughter Patricia D. Glass-Williams, siblings Bishop Curtis W. Glass, William Glass, Armanda Walton and Elvenia Blain. Survivors: He leaves to cherish his memory his children Sharon Glass Greene, Joan A. Glass, A. Victor Glass (Carolyn); Siblings Lola Wieczynski (Albert), Herman, Bob Glass (Janice), Kenneth Williams, 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many other relatives and friends.
