I am Rob Quinn's future sister-in-law and have heard so much about this wonderful family. It is so hard to make meaning out of this loss right now, but the photos and stories on this website make it clear that he had a remarkable life. The Long family and Katie's wife will be in our thoughts and prayers not just for a few months or years, but forever.

I had the privilege of knowing the Long family at Geneseo Central School where both Andrew and David were in my 5th grade class. Andrew was a bright young man and showed great academic potential even as an elementary student. He had the unconditional love and support of his parents. To Mr. and Mrs. Long, David, and Andrew's wife Katie I send my deepest sympathies as you mourn the loss of someone so dear and special to all of you!

We have loved and admired the Long family ever since we moved to Mt. Morris in 1966. Though we didn't know Andrew, we loved his grandparents and parents. The obituary is so beautiful. The apple didn't fall far from the tree What an amazing young man. Our hearts simply ache for you. You haven't been out of our thoughts and prayers for a moment since we first heard. Vicki and Andy, you were so blessed to have such a wonderful son and he was so blessed to have you for his parents. Our deepest sympathy to you and to your entire family and to Katie and her family. Your energy and spirit and love shine through even this saddest of times. Love from Dick and Joan Haviland

I remember Andrew as an amazingly beautiful ~ smart ~ sweet
