I miss you mom! 10 years has flown by with many changes. Sometimes I still think I’m going to call you to discuss things. Silly. The hummingbirds will soon be here. I love seeing them, as you did! Send love and peace to us. Kiss my dad for me.

Today is my mom's 81'st birthday! It is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. Mom always reminded me of this on her birthday. She was proud that she had been chosen for birth on a day when the earth and sun colluded for the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere. "Now all the days get a bit shorter, Catherine, until December 21, when they will get a bit longer each day." Thank you mom for this wisdom and for the ability to love your birthday as you did! I miss you! Namaste!

Dear Mom,

I cannot believe you have been away for four years. My goodness how time quickly goes. Dad is doing well. He misses you, yet life is kind and he is well loved by our family. I saw your Butler ancestral home. I know why it was important to you. I experienced much love there. Thank you for passing that heritage on to us. I pray for you to look over our family keep us in your ethereal love. I miss you so.

Mom, your birthday just passed. I thought of you and how much I miss you. I regret not being there for you as much as I wanted to. Life gets in the way... I just want you to know how much I miss and love you. Dad is fine. I know he misses you. He is still getting along. I know you miss Dad. Until we see you again, know we love you!

Hi mom! Today is your birthday. I miss you so much, I wish I could talk to you about everything that is going on here. Please send an angel or two our way. Your children need them. We need to know the right decisions to make, but every avenue has a roadblock. Maybe you can whisper some words of wisdom..

A piece of my heart broke away a year ago. You took it with you, Mom. I miss you so much! I am ever hopeful that you can hear me and know how much you are loved! It is spring and a time of year that brings hope and new life. I always think of you at this time of year. I will plant some flowers for you this year!

Happy Easter, dear mom! Today was suffused with sun and warmth. The tulips and crocuses finally are daring to poke out of the ground. Little children's voices could be heard all around as they played with abandon, shaking the long winter out of their limbs. This was just the type day you loved! Somehow I think you orchestrated it and I thank you!

Today I commemorate your passage to heaven. The year has been long with too dark a winter that snowed our tears all season long.i hear you reminding me that with spring comes hope.  I will always miss you, mom, but I see you in each of my children, nieces, nephews, and my siblings. Thus, you are not so far away when I can touch my hand to theirs. I love you mom.

Hi. It's almost been a year since you have been gone. Phil and I miss you so much. Dad is lost without you. He walks around the house holding and talking to your prayer card. Even Cupid misses you.
This family isn't the same without you. Sometimes I feel so lost...I wish you were here to talk to. I think we could all use a little help from you in Heaven. I know you are watching, you know how we are struggling. Please help us. Ask Jesus to help our family. We all love you so much Mom. I try not to cry, but like today I just can't seem to stop. There will always be a portion of my heart that is broken where you reside. I so glad that you went to Grandparents Day with Phil last year. He has that picture and sometimes takes it out and just looks at it. Then he will tell me later how much he misses you and he will crawl into my arms and cry.

Six months ago a light went out of my life. I light a candle for you, Mom. I miss you and love you so much! Every day seems a bit dimmer without you with us.

Mom, we miss & love you so very much! We need your guidance so desperately. I try to think of what you would do in situations out of our control. We need your wisdom and your love. We all long to feel your loving arms around us. Dad misses you lile crazy and wishes to join you as soon as possible. We look for clues from you for answers. Please pu t a good word in with God to help us all.
