Life is a drama of appearance and disappearance, just like a morning dew which fades away in the sun.
Birth is the entry into consciousness, death the exit to the great beyond,
But we do know that God is in control wherever we shall be found.
May the good Lord be with you Dr Yongbang. Amen.

If we had known we wouldn’t see you again after the last Thanksgiving dinner, we would have stayed longer, listen to more of your stories and life experiences. I really appreciate all of your advice and even though that was our first real interaction and conversation, I was amazed by your humility. You immediately embraced me like your son and made me and my family yours. I thank God for your life. Rest In Peace Daddy.

"For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain" Phil 1:21.
Life could be perceived as meaningless if it hasn't gotten a purpose.
Your faith in God helped many discovered the purpose of life.
Your help in creating a positive impact to your localities be that in your Christian faith, family or Professional world, depicts a true testament of a life with a purpose.
Many were motivated by your courageous act of expression via kindness and your writings.
Your faith in the Lord even at your last breath of life, is an exhibit of a life; true to its purpose.
Better put daddy, all the journey you made through life could be summarized in this one quote by Mitch Albom,"Love is how you stay alive; even after you are gone."
Adieu daddy!!! Rest to rise again.

When Mark Twain wrote that “The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.” he was basically describing the nature of a fulfilled life; and without knowing it, he encapsulated in such few words the enriching life of Dr. Arnold Yongbang and the soothing nature of the way he left us. That is why the legacy he left behind is prodigious.

“What is a legacy?” some would ask.

Most of us consider a man’s enriching legacy as the things he created or did that enhance humanity; and so we cherish the children he seeded and raised, the inventions he brought forth to improve the wellbeing of man, the creative works of his mind that are helping humanity appreciate the finer purpose of our existence in this world, and the sweet memories he left behind to nourish the souls of those he crossed paths with in his pilgrimage on earth.

Dr. Arnold Yongbang did all of those things and even more. He rekindled the flame of life in the sick; he was selflessly at the forefront of a cause for a people to regain their dignity, and he stood as the voice of humanity against even those who claimed to be on his side in the collective effort to right the wrongs of history. Dr. Arnold Yongbang left behind the legacy of a gardener that would last multiple lifetimes, a legacy that would be nurtured by his wife, progenitors and those who share his ideas.

The tears of those who love you and those you inspired are meant to say that they will miss you. But they understand that it was your time to leave this world of mortals after giving so much to make it better.
Adios in your journey to the realm of our ancestors and the Almighty. Thank you for the time we shared with you. We have your legacy to enrich our lives. May your soul Rest in Peace with the Lord, the Creator of All. AMEN!

Cousine Julie, my heart goes out to you and your family on the passing of your husband, father and best friend.
Death can never take a good man away, for, in the hearts of the people he inspired, the legacy remains and continuous throughout generations. Our brother, Dr Yongbang was a great doctor, activist and father to many.
Know that in this time of grief, your family is in my thoughts and prayers. May his soul find eternal rest Amen.

Daddy, over the past five years, we got to know you better and were opportuned to spend time with you.
We came to appreciate the gift that you were to mankind. Your smile, laughter, calm, and reassuring personality will always be in our memories. And above all, we appreciate all the blessings and prayers that you poured on us. Dr. Arnold Boh Yongbang. Africa’s committed best healing hands in the medical field. An uplifting soft spoken gentleman and great family togetherness motivator. May he rest in the best places nature preserves for the dedicated. May all his wonderful family celebrate a good man.

Dearest Yongbang Family,
Mother and I haven't known Dr. Yongbang for a very long time, but it didn't take long to determine he was a wise, godly man who LOVED HIS FAMILY DEARLY.  I know this is a difficult time for all of you. You are all in our hearts and prayers.  Know that he is most definitely in Heaven with our Lord and he is not in pain nor is he suffering.  He awaits the arrival of the remainder of you as you serve your time on Earth as Christians.  We are thankful to have known him and will miss him greatly.  Love Always, Karen Sellers and Virgie Long

May the good Lord accept ypur gentle soul to His eternal abode. It was not by sheer luck that I came to your clinic with the message I drafted in the University of Yaounde in 1991 outline the plight of the Anglophone Child. As a father you received us and since then we became a family. From CAM to SCARM and AAC to SCNC, you were there and uncompromising to the restoration efforts. Today when some people think they started it, not knowing that some great men like you laid the foundation; and am proud learning from your meticulousness and spirit of patriotism to the motherland, today baptisedi as Ambazonia! Rest in Peace great one and greet our ancestors in yonder and in BLESSETH Memory !

It's with a very heavy heart that I write this tribute in honor of Dr. Arnold Boh Yongbang.
After sensitising Camerounians about the plight of Southern Cameroonians in Douala, he went ahead to spearhead the formation of the Cameroon Anglophone Movement (CAM). The main objective was to demand the French Cameroun government to treat English speaking people of Southern Cameroons with respect and their rights recognized. C A M grew and was renamed Southern Cameroons Restoration Movement (SCARM). This organization under the leadership of Dr Yongbang worked hard to organize AAC1 in Buea, and AAC2 in Bamenda.
Dr Yongbang worked relentlessly to restore the independence of the Southern Cameroons, now called Ambazonia.
He wrote profusely on matters related to the emancipation of the former British Trust Territory of the Southern Cameroons and did an excellent job in sensitising international organizations and governments on the plight of these people.
SCARM will continue to ensure that great sons of Ambazonia such as Dr Yongbang and Justice Ebong (who also passed away recently) are not forgotten. It will be recalled the Justice Ebong declared the independence of the Southern Cameroons over Radio Buea before he was incarcerated in the dreadful jails in Yaounde.
In addition to running a state-of-the-arts Hospital in Douala, Dr Yongbang took time to love and guard his beloved family, and provided philanthropic services to Catholic hospitals in Douala.
MAY THE SOULS OF DR YONGBANG AND JUSTICE EBONG REST IN PERFECT PEACE! AMEN.

You helped lay the ground work for our people, the people of Ambazonia, to find the rock of courage to pin their feet on, in a world run by powerful waves of international machination. You shall live in our hearts forever. Eben Egbe
