Barbara Blanche Gales was born in 1945 to Charles LeRoy and Avis Marie Means. She was born and raised in Hot Springs South Dakota. In June 1978 she married her soul mate Eugene Gales. Barb had 3 children Donald LeRoy Gales born in 1969, Barbie Lee Gillaspy born in 1971 and Evelyn Marie Martin born in 1976. Later that year Gene adopted Barb's 3 children. 

My mom enjoyed alot stuff in her life but her greatest enjoyed was painting. She did her biggest painting at the old Frontier Lanes bowling alley which is now Energy Lanes. 

She also enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Grandchildren are Travis James Harding, Avis Marie Martin, Kenna Rose Martin and Alix James Martin. Great Grandchildren Winter Marie Martin and Adaline Blanche Martin. She has 2 newest Great Grandchildren that was born this year 2021 Barbara Blanche Martin ( was name after my mom  ) and Angel Lee Martin. She loved them all dearly.

Mom loved going on trip with my dad. She went on several cruises, camping in their motor home and traveling to many states. Spending time alone with my dad was her greatest thing to do. She also enjoyed bowling and taking her grandchildren on trips to make memories with them. 

My mom had done so much in her wonderful life and made a lot of memories with us her family and her grandchildren. She will missed by all of us
