One night, sitting at the bar at Mark and Monica's, we were sitting next to a couple of guys, 1 of whom we called Sherwin, he worked at the paint store next door. He and his buddy were enjoying cocktails that just looked too good to resist. Becky and I thought if we made straws long enough to reach from our stools to his cocktails that he might never notice. So there we sat, giggling as quietly as we could, attaching one straw to the next to the next. We finally succeeded in making the straw long enough, dangling it over one of the cocktails, but the concept never proved to be successful. We laughed until we cried.
Rest now Becky. You were a good woman.
