In Fall, 1985 upon returning to Paine College Benjamin met the love of his life, me, Janice Denise Robinson.  We dated throughout the entire time I attended Paine College. On December 25, 1989 Benjamin proposed marriage to me and I happily accepted. We were married on December 15, 1990.  Benjamin and I began our married life in Augusta, Georgia where we lived for one year until I got a job in Atlanta, Georgia.  We lived in Atlanta for the next seven years until we moved to Warner Robins, Georgia in 1997.

Benjamin left to start college at Paine College in Augusta, Georgia in Fall, 1983.  Benjamin was very active at Paine College.  Benjamin was a member of the Paine College Concert Choir as well as the Singing Painetes Show Choir.  Benjamin was a very talented vocalist.  During his time at paine College he received the Luther Vandross Best Vocalist Award.  He also performed on Program during the Chapel Services which were held on Tuesdays singing both Solo and in the Paine College Concert Choir.  Benjamin also pledged Gamma Beta Chapter of Omega Psi Fraternity in Fall, 1984.

On October 30, 1965 a beautiful nine pound baby boy was born to Edith Marie and Benjamin F Stanford in Adel Georgia.  This baby boy was named Benjamin F Stanford, Jr.  Benjamin attended school in the Cook County School System. Benjamin graduated from Cook County High School in 1983.  After graduating from High School Benjamin attended Paine College in Augusta, Georgia majoring in Music Education.
