I remember meeting Malias mom. She was a good lady. I sure miss Malia also. She and I were very different from one another but we met on many levels. She stayed with us on our RV place in Yuma. Az. We had such fun together. She was very different but yet loving and kind. I miss her. Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas too!!

Missing you very much! It is hard to believe it has been 5 years since you left us. Still fixing your pot roast and red beans and rice.

Happy Birthday Bertha. We miss you and think about the fun times we had with you.

Time goes so fast, but our memories never forget the ones we have lost. Those memories keep us going and remembering the happy times. Knowing you are still missing your mom. Time is a healer. Look out after your crazy girl and keep her safe out there.

Your mom has a lasting memory as long as you can recall her laughter and smiles and her sunny ways. that will never leave your heart and mind. She was brave to take off on such a long journey with you, but she did it and valued every moment of mother daughter time. You were so lucky to have that time. I was glad to be able to meet and talk with your mom along the journey. That no one will ever forget. I have enjoyed the pics of you and mom along the way. she always looked so happy and having fun with you. I am sure her journey in the afterlife will be to check in with you and keep you safe. Never far from sight and thinking. Time heals the sorrows. The good times will carry you through. What a wonderful life you have had.  I am so thankful that you were able to see so much of this beautiful country... You have raised a beautiful family and I am so thankful for giving us your daughter Malia... Malia, I was so glad I got to meet your mom. She was a gem of a lady with a great sense of humor. Your mom will always travel with you. We have gained an extraordinary set of Angel eyes looking over us. I will forever remember her and the laughs she gave me.
