Dear Aunt Polly. Missing your presence here on earth but knowing you are in a better place. We cherish your memory and your legacy of love still burns in our hearts. Rest in peace!

To our Matriarch Aunt Polly, We will miss you but we know God had plans for you in heaven. I had forgotten that you shared a Birth date with my mother your niece Sallie Grace Wabbington. I guess that's why you two were so close. Tell her hello for us. We Love you Aunt Polly and will continue to carry on your legacy of building strong family ties. I'm blessed to have had the pleasure to spend this short time with you on earth and I'll see you when God calls me too. R.I.P Aunt Polly.

I had such fond memories of conversations that we had over the years and Cousin Polly to me was like my second mom. Filled with christian sisterly love, respect, understanding,wisdom and a million dollar smile! On this Wednesday Evening in March, 2014; as family members we have spent time sharing photos and memories of you. I will always remember your tender voice, sweet demeanor and your gentle reminders of the importance of family. You (Bertha Wabbington Williams) were a courageous angel! Many times you must have felt a bit lonely knowing that not only had your parents and husband left long before you on their journey to Eternity but all of your siblings. Yet, you still found reasons to smile and enjoy life. As a believer, I cannot be selfish and wish that you had stayed here with us. Instead, I must be grateful for every precious moment, every telephone conversation and every letter we had the privilege to share. I will miss the fact that you are no longer on Earth with us in the physical. Yet, everytime we stare in the eye of another family member, share another hug, see the smiles on the face of others; we will have a part of you left among us. God has spoken and therefore, sleep peacefully in the arms of the Savior. Certainly as you are welcomed into Heaven, the message board will read: Well Done Bertha Wabbington Williams! Out of our love for you, we will maximaize every moment of life, grateful for all the lessons you left for us when it comes to the love of family!

There was no greater aunt or moving force than Aunt Polly. She was an imposing and beautiful woman who always had a kind word and maintained such a happy spirit that it was impossible not to get caught up in her joy. God blessed us to have her with us for over 90 years and to God goes the glory.

How we loved you Dear Aunt Bertha! All I have are great memories of you. Even when dealing with the health challenge you faced after the reunion in 2008, I remember the positive attitude you had. To be able to hear you say":God took your ability to walk but left your mouth and mind in tact" was priceless! I would be honored to be able to emulate even a tiny portion of the loving ways, concern and love for family that you exemplified. You are now "This Little Light of Ours" shining brightly to mark our paths.

Aunt Bertha I Love being "fabulous" because of you -- your earthly existence will be missed, but I'm so Grateful for all the wisdom, laughter and memories we shared.

Aunt Polly...Please know that Scott and I and our children and grandchildren will miss your warm and elegant persona. You were a lady of class and now on your way to reunite with those who have gone before. While here on earth, you shared your spirit of love and kindness wherever you went. Your smile lit up every room that you entered and now Heaven will enjoy your presence. We will always remember how you stressed the importance of family staying connected.
