Her Life

Grandma Betty

November 2, 2016

Betty was and is a wonderful soul. She had so much love in her heart that even a million rainbows couldn't fill the sky with enough colours to show how much love and caring she had. She will always be a mom that I can talk about with joy in my heart, love, peace, caring and gratitude. She taught me to care for animals, others less fortunate and to be grateful for waking up every day. I know she has a mantion of her own in the Kingdom of God because if anyone deserves that it's my mom. She didn't have much on this earth but she still continued to embark on life in many positive ways. She loved her family so much and gave everything she had to make us happy. She will be forever missed. Love you so much mom.

Gramma Betty

Betty, my mom, my best friend and a wonderful grandmother. Born on the six nations reserve and came to Toronto to live with her granny she loved and admired so much.  She was a wonderful and kind hearted woman who cared so much for her family. She was always there for you when you needed her. She had a jolly laugh and was a great home maker. She met my dad Raymond in her late teens and they later got married and had their first child Sandra. A year later they had my brother Brad and a few years after that  well I came along and made my mom's family complete. We lived in a small flat in my nan's house until I was 12 then we moved to our own house where we stayed for over 30 years. That was the house we all gathered; me, my sister, the grand kids, friends and family. We had many great times there and i'm sure that house is full of love and warmth for whomever resides there now. My mom was a hard working woman who always gave undconditional love and caring to all who were close to her. She is a one of a kind classy lady and we all miss her joyful laughter and warm hugs.
