Her Life

My Mom

October 18, 2013

This is a memorial to my Mom. She was the strongest, most giving woman that I have ever known. I remember family holidays where she managed to make everyone feel special and welcome. I remember Sunday mornings before church that she would give us a small cup of coffee and white powdered donuts for breakfast and then laugh because our mouths were covered in powder.
I remember her smile and the way she laughed. She was always there for me even when she was telling me that I wasn't right. She was well loved by everyone that knew her. Her grandchildren loved spending time with her. And her heart was so full of love for each and every one of them. I wish she could have lived long enough to see them all grow up and to see their children growing up now, but I know God needed this special lady home.
I miss my Mom so much still today. So many times I have wanted to pick up the phone and call her or see her. I know that one day I will see her again. I hope that as you visit this memorial, you will leave a message or a story you have of Mom. It would mean so much to me.
Gone for now, but never forgotten. With all my heart, I love you, Mom.
