I met Bill when I was a very young girl (probably 6).  His Grandma and Grandpa Kurtz lived across the street from us.  His Aunts, Patty and Phylis would babysit for my brothers and I.  We remained friends throughout our adult years.  I introduced Bill & Carol in the 60s.  When they married they would often visit with my husband Dave & I.  We always had a wonderful time together.  I remember the birth of their girls, Rene' and Rhonda.  Bill was so proud of his girls, Carol, Rene' and Rhonda and his family.  He left this world way too soon, as did my husband Dave.   I am certainly glad that I maintain Carol today.  Even though she has a wonderful man in her life now, I know that she misses Bill. 

I think of all the fun childhood memories and there are so many. Like when we lived in the hotel for a few months and you and mom took us trick or treating, when we sang every Christmas Eve on the way home, how you got so excited to record us at the Holidays and Birthdays, hide easter eggs for hours and just be happy to be our daddy. When I wear red fingernail polish I think of you and how you said we could never wear it unless we were moved out. How you looked at me when I pierced my nose and got my first tattoo. How you wanted to suport me growing up. You wanted us to be independent and grow into great women which I feel we have. Look down on us for protection and help us in this sad sad world to be better people.
