The Lost boys

Dear Billy, I remember the first day we met on the bus,to this day I still remember the conversation we had. I noticed your thrasher shirt. Looking at my own hand me down clothes, then looking at your’s I was curious to know what it meant. You were so shy but you opened right up talking about how it was a skateboard brand. Instantly I was brought into the passion you had about it. I remember everyday we would talk on the bus about skateboarding, new sick music that had come out and even what life struggles you were going through. You were my listening ear and I tried to be yours. We met others just like us with broken hearts, homes and just some lost in between. I still remember the group we had in high school . We didn’t judge, we were not popular and all we were seeking out of life was fun and enjoyment.Billy you are my brother and I never got to say goodbye but I know you’re kicking it with the big dawg upstairs. You helped me in so many ways to overcome the struggles in my own life and forget them through friendship. You’re a good man, you always have been with a huge heart. I can’t wait to see you again someday. I love you brother, you are missed.
