robert tomhas hornby born 31/12/1933 in st helens the most amazing man that ever walked this earth he married margaret abbott in 18/02/1956 at st beeds rc in widness  he had 3 children bobby 56/karen55/and me 46 he was a hrd working man all hes life as well as being in the army he loved to go parashooting at weekends wen i was small he worked all over the world he was a master painter decorater towards the end of hes life he was in security he dident stop working till he was 75 wot a man he only retird to look after my mum wen she became verry ill and he stayed by her side for 3 years till she lost her fight for life in july 2010 he was never the same again he lost all hes fight and gave up then he past away in april 2012 he finly had wot he wonted he was with my mum again she was the love of hes life and he was hers the end to a story of a great man a loveing and careing dad and an amazing husband he is very sadly missed and no one could ever replace him he was a one off my dad bob .
