Uncle Bobby always seemed to be a humble man, I remember him mostly when he was the maintenance man and lived at the hotel, my dad, James his brother that he will be joining in heaven used to take us to visit. My uncle Bobby had a bird that talked, it fascinated me as a young child. When we were kids we always had family get together and my dad and his brothers would play football. We had a great time. I love you uncle Bobby...

Remembering You
Tinkering with old gadgets,
Camping and fishing
You lived to be outside,
under that big blue sky.
You were happy most any place,
It didn't take much.
A cigg and A beer in your hand.
Never a minute was wasted,
You found plenty to do.
You said "Life is what you make it."
Simple things like looking for arrow heads hanging with your brothers
A piece of meat or hot dog on the grill.
It was worth millions to you.
The tales you use to me
Witch i did believe.
From gun shot wounds to women
OH! All of these i would love to hear.
That little smirk and not so innocent laugh
your big brown eyes I loved so much
All these things were you
and is what ill miss dearly
Things you said can never be replaced,
Some so funny, you had to laughed loved to see what you was gonna do next.
We had special days and special times,
From just a quiet moment or a drunken benge
You made it all so special each time.
You liked to tease me
till you got a reaction,
then you were pleased.
That was just you, and you loved it.
Not much money did you have,
But you said,
"You were rich, just look what I have,
My Family, my fishen pole and my dog
I love this man, and was so thankful i got one last touch, holding his hand,
and hearing his voice
But now he is gone,
no more to see.
But I will just bet,
By the lake or river side is where he can be found
Just look around,
His memories you will see,
and above all,
I know he is waiting,
JUST BEYOND THE CREEK BED FOR ME!
