Mr. Bobby Gene Parker was bom on February 4,1946 to the late Mr. Marion Parker, Sr., and the late Mrs. Ella Dominick Parker in Elmore County, Alabama.


Mr. Parker joined the New Style Baptist Church at an early age. He was a graduate of J.D. Thomson High School in Cottage Grove, Alabama. He retired from Russell Corporation after approximately 32 years of service.


Bobby was a loving, caring and giving man. He was a very
cheerful soul, always had some news and a great joke to tell!!
He departed this life on February lI, 2015, at Russell
Medical Center after a brief illness. He is preceded in death by his
mother, father, five brothers, two sisters and a daughteq Falethia
Stowes.


Bobby leaves to cherish his memories: three daughters,
Aretha (Arthur) Smith, Mary Joyce (Terrl') Edwards, and Shanetta
Spikes; one son, Stephen Riley; he also leaves, one sister, Mrs. Annie
Pearl (Levi) Leonard; and three brothers, Nathaniel (Nancy) Parker,
John Marion Parker, Jr. and Henry Parker; nine grandchildren; nine
great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, co-workers, and
special friends, to include Mr. Robert James Moon and Mr. Albert
Birmingham.
