When Brandon and Christina (twin sister) were about 6-7 years old. We had went shopping for school shoes. I asked them to pick out a pair of shoes. Preferably a pair of sneakers. Christina picked out two pairs, sneakers and dress shoes.
I said only one pair Sissy, Momma can't get two right now. Of course she was disappointed. 
They both had earned money doing their chores. I told them they could spend it anyway they wanted to, after all, they earned it. And of course Brandon being the sweet guy he was and loving Christina like he did. Bought her the dress shoes with his allowance money.
He was just that sorta of guy
