Many years have passed, but this was a guy who lived life to its fullest while still finding the time to help and care for others. HSL-35 Det 6 was a better place due to my friend Boats, who showed me, and many others, the ropes and what being human was all about. You are remembered.

Bruce, I can't believe it has already been a year since you went on to blue skies and calm seas. I have so many fond memories with you. Honey is having the time of her life at or house in Colorado. I see her sit and stare at the trees and wildlife and know she misses you and longs for your voice. She is such a good dog and you obviously spoiled her, and so do we. I miss you old friend and will see you again one day.

Boat's, you were one of the few people in my life that I knew I could rely on no matter what. You never judged anyone and always put the needs of others (including your beloved pets) in front of your own. I'm going to miss the exchange of our annual Birthday wishes. You were one of kindest souls I've ever met. I cherish the memories of our times together in San Diego. You epitomize the term "Shipmate"! Say hi to Charlie and the other mates that have passed before you. We'll see you in time. May you always have the wind at your back and smooth seas ahead. Rest in piece my friend!
