Oh Deb! I am so heartbroken for you and your family! I loved Bruce! You guys were such sweet friends during a rather crazy and wildly wretched time at MHGS. You both always brought your heart to everything and I think fondly of our conversations and laughter together. I can hear Bruce’s mid-west accent and see his big smile that got me through school. My prayers are with you and your family. Bruce will be so missed by everyone.

Deb, My deepest condolences to you and your family. You and Bruce showed me such great acceptance and encouraged me at Mars Hill Graduate School. Your love for each other and for Jesus was a light to me and others. Praying for you in this time of great loss.

Bruce, you and Deb were the first people to reach out to me after I moved to Bothell from Kansas. You invited me to your home for dinner. I think you made macaroni and cheese, and it was amazing! Your warmth and generosity made me feel like everything was going to be OK. Bruce, you always made me feel so welcome. That was such a gift to me. I will never forget you. May you be surrounded by God’s love forever.
