Mrs. Burlie M. Harper, 86 year old resident of Five Points, Alabama, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at her residence.

Mrs. Harper was born Sunday, January 3, 1926, in Dadeville, Alabama, the daughter of the late Bural and Sallie Windslet Simpson.  She was an active member of New Hope Baptist Church, Chambers County, Alabama. Mrs.  Harper was a homemaker and had retired from West Point Pepperell after 12 years.  She was loved by her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Roy Turner of Lakeview, Alabama; her sons and daughter-in-law,  Ronnie and Glenda Harper of Roanoke, Alabama and Buford Harper of Five Points, Alabama; and three grandchildren, Rodney Turner, Shirley Wilson, and Renee Daniels.
