I didn't know Byrdie, but I did know Jesse. He was my very best friend throughout one of the hardest times in my life (middle school). Just his smile would brighten my day. Every day he would take bus 28 to my house. If I wasn't home he would wait in the covered stop until I pulled up. We would laugh, talk, and just BS for hrs. He would sing to me to make me smile, stay on the phone with me all night, and when I woke up he would still be on the line. So many good memories! Life took over and sadly we lost touch. I am so sad to think of how many people are feeling his loss right now. He is a blessing! T
