Mom, how is it that after these years, I still miss you so much! You made so much of my current life possible, and I thank you all the time. Your faith made all the difference for you. And it's really time - I have the time! - for me to live mine. Ready to embrace this last part (third? quarter?) of my life and I hope I have the courage you did in approaching it. Thank you for the love, always, and now the inspiration too. Happy Birthday tomorrow!

My thoughts and prayers are with you today. I know how difficult these special days can be. Missing your Mom and the hole she has left behind can be difficult. Just know she has not been forgotten. . .  We all love and miss her.

J. John,
Though I did not know your mom, after reading about her life, she sounded like one dynamite woman who lived a full life of two people! If you could bottle her spirit and give it to everyone, the world would be one happy and peaceful earth. Planting a succulent in her memory. Take care...

WOW! I knew your mother was strong. I realize now that she was ahead of her time in terms of shaping her children's lives. Especially her daughters.
My love to all of you.
Kathy, how lovely that you called your mom your hero.Priceless. My hero was my grandma Mary who l grew up with. She helped me to have a backbone and be strong! Love those early feminists!

So sorry to have missed the service. Didn't get the notification in time. Carol was a wonderful, kind person that I've known for more years than I'd want to admit. Shawn & my thoughts are with with your entire family. She'll be terribly missed.

This fine woman (and her wonderful family) was a God-send of a neighbor to us for the 12 years we lived in Hazeltine Heights. She is easily remembered by all in our family for her kindness, her smile, her cooking, her generosity, her many talents and her heart of love. Carol, you will be missed but you'll always be in our hearts. We thank God for the opportunity to have known and loved you!

I remember as a kid going to Big John and Carol's farm with Stacy, my godmother, and my three sisters. We'd spend the day helping pull vegetables and picking berries. And of course we would play in the mud. Carol would always pull out the tin tub and give us a bath out back of the house. While Carol was cooking, my sisters and I would play with Stacy's old barbie and paper dolls. We'd then eat a tasty, hearty home-cooked meal and pizzelle cookies. I always loved going to Big John and Carol's house and I have a lot of wonderful memories of Carol. I know what it feels like to lose a loved one, and I know there is nothing anyone can say to make it better but just know Big John and the three of you have a lot of love and support. Especially you Stacy, I love you lots and am here for whatever you need.

I have such wonderful memories of being a weekend guest at the Priola home during my high school years and friendship with Kathy. Both of her parents were warm, genuine and so very generous. Seeing Carol's photo instantly brought all of that back and I am grateful for all of her kindnesses towards me and my family. The death of a parent can feel like that last bit of childhood magic going away even though you're an adult yourself. I hope you'll be gentle with yourselves and each other in the coming months. Holding all of you in sacred space. With love, Lizanne

December 5, 1996 I broke both of my legs and I am sure it was Carol, who was my roommate. She had just had double knee replacement. I broke my legs while in Denver for my job, but lived in Fort Morgan. I was so fortunate to have Carol as my roommate and John was a delight, when he visited. My fondest memory is watching the Broncos game Sunday December 8th with John and Carol. What a special lady and was so kind to me, when I felt so lonely and in pain. Rest in peace dear lady!

My thoughts are with you all. I was Kathy's counselor at Machebuef HS 40 years ago. Mrs. Priola made several cotton dresses for me for my Peace Corps adventure - wore them as well as wearing them out for the 2 humid and sunny years! If Kathy is in town, please try to contact me here in Denver.

Uncle John, Stacy Kathy and J John I hope you find peace in knowing Aunt Carol is watching over you now from heaven.  She was a very special person. During the years that Gregg drove his truck over the road he frequently stopped in Denver, She and Uncle John always welcomed him, took care of him and opened their home to him. A couple of times I was able to travel with him. One of my memories was such a trip where we stayed with them and Aunt Carol had sold several of her big fern trees, I was there to watch her with the machinery dig the trees up and ready them to be shipped to their new homes.

As a child and an adult the many trips she made to her home town of Belleville always bringing onions and other goodies.

Aunt Carol you are missed.

Aunt Carol, I so miss you. You always made me feel special to have you as my Godmother.  You always gave me sound advice for life. Uncle John, Stacy as I said before I so enjoyed my visit with you in October. All of you (Uncle John, Aunt Carol, Stacy, Kathy and John) have played a strong role in our lives from afar. Grandma, grandpa and our mothers relied on the strength all of you represented to keeping family strong and present despite distance. I always remember fondly all of the time and visits we had with you, Kathy and Stacy when my son Paul was attending school at CU.
Love and prayers of peace to all of you.

To the Family of Carol Priola who myself, my late husband, Joe Debreceni, our Son, Mark J. Debreceni & our Dtr., Vicki Lynne (Debreceni) Wilson met the Priola Family in late 1973.
I want to extend our deepest sympathy in the loss of a Great Lady in the body of our true Friend. Carol was a trooper, a Blessed Mother of Stacy, Kathy & John III, & a true example of a loving, Christian Wife.
I got to share many wonderful times with her while we lived in Colorado & since my husband Chuck Kinney & I moved to Ohio, we shared emails & phone calls with Carol, until recently & then her wonderful Dtrs. Stacy Priola & Kathy Priola & Son John Priola III kept me informed on my Friend (their Mom) whom they dearly loved & she them.
I will forever miss Carol, like I know her Family will miss her, but we have the assurance of seeing our Christian Family of Friends & Relatives after our departing this Earth.
May our Lord God & Savior, Jesus Christ, give Carol's Family Peace &
Comfort as we honor her time on this Earth and ALL the Wonderful
ways she showed her love to her Family and Friends.
You were loved, My Dear Friend, Carol,
One Of Your Many Friends,
Mary Ann Kinney, Husband Chuck & our Family

I was truly saddened to hear about your passing. I have fond memories of visiting you in Denver on vacation when I was 10 and all the times you visited St. Louis. I owe my love of the Denver Broncos to you and always liked to talk football when I saw you. Heaven gained an angel and we all gained a guardian. Rest In Peace Aunt Carol.

I know your mom is happy now. She will be truly missed. She has always been here for me. She was miles away but we always were as close as if she lived in town. I will cherish the week we had together last fall forever. I pray that Stacy, Kathy, and John are at peace for the care and love they all gave their mom. She was a special person for many people, I will truly miss her. God bless you Aunt Carol
