Carolyn Nyberg was born on April 2, 1957 to parents Oscar C. Cole and Shirlene French. She passed away unexpectedly at the age of 56 on March 6, 2014 at her home in Bloomington, Minnesota.

Carol was born in Tenessee. She was a southern charmer who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her loved ones. She loved all animals, but more specifically, her dog Peanut. She was a doting mother and grandmother who would do anything for her family. A free spirit, Carol was easy-going, and lived life on her terms. She didn't wait for life....she made it for herself.

Carol made friends wherever she went. She had a way about her that drew people in. Carol loved being on the lake and in the sun. She adored her Husband, and would do anything to make him happy. She was full of spunk and loved to laugh. She had a great sense of humor, and had a great smile. She was shopper through and through....always looking for gifts to give. She loved to find trinkets and treasures to add warmth to her home.

Carol was preceeded in death by both of her parents, 3 brothers, her youngest Son Brian Paschall, and her beloved dog Trinket.

She is survived by her devoted Husband Gordon Nyberg, Sister Retha Sue Dunn, Daughter Jerri Nunnery, Son Michael Nunnery (Wife:Amanda Nunnery) and 6 Grandchildren, Tony Nunnery, Katlyn Tauzel, Brandon Nunnery, Bryce Nunnery, Benjamin Nyberg Jr., and Breanna Nunnery - and her dog, Peanut.

Carol, the matriarch of her family, will be missed dearly. It was a blessing in life to have known her. This has been a most painful loss for her family, and all of your support and well wishes have been truly appreciated by everyone. It goes to show what a wondeful person she was. May she now look over her family in heaven as she did on earth.

The sign of a good person is in her children. Michael was a neighbor and service person at the park where I lived. He was always nice to my father and myself and although I had not met you, I can only think that you were a bright and shining star on this earth and will be up in the Sky Nation as well. I'll watch for your twinkle and tell Michael that I saw you and that you were fine. Prayers up in smoke for courage and strength to help get your family through this terrible loss and to hold them up and steady until you meet again. Blessings to the Nunnery and Nyberg families. My heart and spirit are yours to help you find peace..
