When Charlene Coleman was born on March 5, 1932, in Brigham City, Utah, her father, Thomas, was 39, and her mother, Ella, was 36. She was the youngest of 7 siblings. She attended Box Elder high School.  She married George Wendell Holmes and they had five children together.  She worked many years dipping chocolate for the Idle Isle Cafe. She then married Richard Rowe Fryer on April 23, 1994, in Roy, Utah. She died on April 19, 2014, in Ventura, California, at the age of 82, and was buried in her hometown Brigham City, Utah.
