Chuck,   we were not expecting to get that news about you.   I watched you make a birthday card for your son just a few weeks before in our living room. My father made the trip to Kansas from Arkansas on many occasions. One year we went to the hotel with my uncle and cousins to swim. I was around 6 or 7 and didn't know how to swim yet, but I decided to go down the slide by myself anyways. And just as you'd expect I went under water and couldn't get back up. The next thing I knew my father was dragging me out of the water and making sure that I'm breathing. He literally saved my life that day.
