Dear Mr. Chuck: Recounting these past two years, I can tell you that you are missed so much. Ms. Donna is OK. Lesleigh is following your example of how to be in life, and your grandchildren are following their dreams. Judy and Jay keep working hard in support them in their journals. Everything is just fine. the sadness is still present as well as the hope you can see every accomplishment of this family is the best stimuli to keep going.

The greatest gift I receieved from you was "courage." You taught me through our many backpacking, sailing, camping and road trips to college, that I must always keep going. Stand up, wipe of the dust and keep going. Your strength and courage is embeded in me and our family............I take you with me everywhere. Thanks Dad! Thanks for taking me to the beach when I was 7 and teaching me that each time I would get knocked down all I needed to do was stand back up. I still use this metaphor of body surfing.............
