Chuck, at 80 years of age, sold me my first horse, Talar. Chuck continued to ride his horse Buddy into his late eighties. He also played golf while in his eighties and lived independently at the time of his passing. When he turned 90 years of age, a large group of people rode to his house to celebrate his birthday. Chuck walked over to my horse, Talar, and said "how are you old buddy?". Talar nuzzled him with happiness. I was so touched to see their relationship after ten years of my horse being apart from him. Chuck touched so many people in this manner. The way he lead his life was and remains an inspiration for so many of us. Chuck, you are forever in our hearts and memories.
